There were large, ornate and orderly gardens, manipulated into forms and shapes with fountains and streams where reflections of color, light and water played and danced together like something out of a dream…There was nothing more delightful after a wearying day, than to rest among their majestic trees and the invigorating aroma of earth and vegetation.
